Our purpose in life is to manifest that love (the Divine within us) and to cherish all of creation as a gift of love.Our most important Canadian value is freedom and justice although, in reality, there are limitations/barriers to these values; barriers such as poverty, race, religion and ignorance. One must love the Divine within oneself and in others but not accept, condone or excuse abhorrent behaviours. Love means forgiveness but does not mean 'turn the other cheek' so that the abuser can reabuse. Love is allowing him/her to be accountable. Love means offering support and encouragement and knowing the fine line between love and codependance. Love means accepting responsibility for our actions and having the wisdomand courage to change. Love means allowing others to make their choices and live their consequences; to learn and to grow. Love is living in harmony with all of creation. |

I Believe in Possibilities. I Believe that we as a People must strive for Wisdom and Accomplishment. We must Create the Life we want by Sharing our Alternatives of Vision and Hope. If we Lift our Voices and Walk a Path of Giving we can Facilitate Positive Transformation. Life is a Tapestry that we Weave each and every moment of our Lives. By Creating a Spiritual Environment we can Actualize our Highest Visions. It is my Sincere Belief that any one of us can if given the Opportunity - Enlighten Hearts and Free Minds. I Believe that we all must Reveal our True Natures thereby opening the door to Experiencing more Light in our Lives. I Believe that we as Canadians have many Values we hold dear - Honesty , Integrity , Honour and Respect. We are people who Seek Peace in every Moment. | J Rogers Campbellville, ON | Most people belong to different religious communities, which I beleive causes seperation. To unifiy the human race then we must believe that we are all equal. Some people may be good at being scientific yet they are not superior to anyone, they may be intelligent in that field. Some may strive in a field that is highly visual but again this may be thier strength, not that they are better than anyone else. We all have our strengths and weaknesses, and I believe we are here to be in balance with all people and all living things. The verticle line in the cross that Christians use symbolizes to me that I was created by a divine power that is also in me: therefore I too am god, a co-creator, and the horizontal line reminds that I must be in balance with all living things. Nature has many ways to teach us, we must remember to listen and watch her moves as well as all the animals that she encompasses.My belief is that we must balance our feminine side as well as our masculine side to totally become a whole person. Peace begins within each and everyone of us,and until we are at peace within ourselves we will never be at peace with others. We must stop killing to find peace. This is such an oxy-moron. If people looked at a forest with all the different trees that it presents to us and really see the beauty there,(big trees, small trees, different varieties, old ones, young ones,etc.) and brings this vision back to all the people of the world.My desire is that people will celebrate thier differences knowing in mind that one is not greater, better or anything but only different just like a forest with all the various trees it thrives in harmony.We must learn to love ourselves so that we may love each other.These are a few of my beliefs. |
