In its final episodes, VisionTV’s Supernatural Investigator is swept off its feet by the masters of seduction, bemused by believers in astrology, and abducted by aliens from outer space
A surprising number of North Americans believe in the paranormal. But where does fact end, and fiction begin? Canada’s premier science fiction author, Robert J. Sawyer, hosts the VisionTV documentary anthology series Supernatural Investigator, which takes a critical look at otherworldly happenings. Each half-hour documentary follows an expert investigator as he or she searches for the truth behind so-called supernatural phenomena.
Supernatural Investigator airs on Tuesdays at 10:30 p.m. ET / 7:30 p.m. PT, concluding June 2. Repeat episodes air on Wednesdays at 10:30 p.m. ET / 7:30 p.m. PT.
Produced for VisionTV by some of Canada’s leading independent production companies, the Supernatural Investigator documentaries confront unearthly mysteries with a skeptical eye. The show’s expert investigators include science writer and adventurer Jeff Warren, magician Jeremy Bennett, and musician Tara Slone.

In this episode, Nova Scotia novelist and poet Lesley Choyce explores the world of astrology, consulting with both skeptics and believers, and subjecting his own astrological chart to expert scrutiny. Is your future written in the stars? Or is astrology just a celestial con job? Produced by Sorcery Films Ltd.
**SERIES CONCLUSION**
“The White Mountain Abduction”
Tuesday, June 2, 10:30 p.m. ET / 7:30 p.m. PT Barney and Betty Hill were driving through the White Mountains of New Hampshire on a September night in 1961 when they noticed a bright light in the sky following them. Eventually, Barney stopped the car and stepped out to investigate. The next thing the Hills would remember was driving away three hours later at top speed, gripped by fear. Only later would they recover their memories of those missing hours, and tell the world of their abduction by aliens. Nearly 50 years later, the White Mountain incident remains the world’s most famous “close encounter” with alien travelers. But what actually happened that night? In this concluding episode of Supernatural Investigator, the Hills’ niece, Kathleen Marden, reconstructs the events in an effort to find out if Barney and Betty really did come face to face with extraterrestrials in the New Hampshire forest. Produced by Paradocs.
