1. Are there any restrictions on what kinds of video and pictures I can submit?

Here's a list of the what NOT to upload:

• Do not upload content that you do not own or have permission to use.

• Do not include background music or sound effects that you do not own or have permission to use. Do not upload the same material more than once.

• Do not include nudity/pornographic depictions/sexually explicit material.

• Do not use profanity.

• Do not use offensive or defamatory language or offensive/violent images.

• Do not include advertising or excessive self-promotion.

• Do not reveal personal information about self/others (such as phone numbers, addresses etc)

Acceptable video formats: We accept mpeg, wmv, avi, mov, flv - 500 mb maximum size.

2. You uploaded a video but did not see it displayed in the gallery?

Though we expect most submissions will meet our guidlines we reserve the right to pre-screen all content (uploads) prior to display on The VisionTV Video On Demand Gallery. We will do out best to get all approved entries posted ASAP.

3. What "Channel" can your videos be seen in?

We have a dedicated Channel on the VisionTV Video On Demand Player called - Your Videos.

4. LIMIT: THERE IS NO LIMIT TO THE NUMBER OF SUBMISSIONS PER REGISTRATATION

5. ELIGIBILITY:

Submissions are open to CANADIAN RESIDENTS ONLY. We will be enabling WORLD WIDE submissions in the near future. Stay tuned.

Note: If you are 14 years of age or younger, you must have parental/guardian permission this contest.

6. RELEASES, ETC:

By submitting your video, you consent, to VisionTV's reproduction, publication, broadcast, use on the Internet, and any other use, without restriction and without further compensation, of your submission, as well as your name, address, voice, statements and photograph or other likeness, for advertising and publicity purposes. By submitting you agree to all VisionTV Terns and Conditions and release VisionTV, their respective affiliates, advertising or promotion agencies and all their respective officers, directors, employees, owners, agents, representatives, successors and assigns (collectively, the "Releasees") from any liability arising out of or in connection with the submission, including liability for personal injury, damages or loss, and they are not held responsible for prize use, misuse or usefulness. By entering you also agree to indemnify Sponsors and the other Releasees from and against any third party claims resulting from any use by Sponsors of your entry.

7. MISCELLANEOUS:

Submitters who have not complied with these Official Rules are subject to disqualification. VisionTV is not responsible for any problems which may arise, including but not limited to, technical malfunctions of telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, viruses, bugs, or failure of any e-mail or fax to be received by Sponsors for any reason including but not limited to traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site, or any combination thereof, or on the fax machine. VisionTV the other Releasees are not responsible for damage to a user's system occasioned by participating in the Contest. All entries become the property of VisionTV and will not be returned. No correspondence will be entered into except with selected entrants. VisionTV reserve the right to amend these Terns and Conditions at any time without prior notice, if any factor interferes with its conduct as contemplated by these Rules. Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws.

8. SUBMISSIONS:

You hereby grant to VisionTV a world-wide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive right and licence to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute and sub-licence any and all material or information submitted by you to this Web site or by e-mail to VisionTV and/or to incorporate it in other works regardless of form, medium or technology. In addition, you hereby waive any moral rights you have in any and all material or information submitted by you to this Web site or by e-mail. You agree that any information submitted for inclusion at this Web site does not infringe the intellectual property or other rights of any third parties and you grant VisionTV a right to provide access to the information from the Web site. You warrant that any software submitted to VisionTV shall be free of computer viruses. All submissions may be removed by VisionTV without notice.

9. CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION and PRIVACY:

VisionTV respects each individual’s autonomy and is committed to protecting the privacy of all users of the site. VisionTV’s stance on privacy is very simple: first, VisionTV collects personal information about you only when you knowingly and willingly provide it; and second, VisionTV will not share, sell or otherwise profit from the distribution of personal data beyond the use it was provided to fulfill. As with all VisionTV’s relationships either on or off the Internet, VisionTV holds its customers’ information with care and in strict confidentiality. Notwithstanding, VisionTV reserves the right at all times, without prior notification to you, to disclose any information about you or your use of this Web site as necessary to satisfy any law, regulation, governmental request or court order. VisionTV aggregates non-personal information about our customers usage behaviour from the Web site and/or surveys to better understand our customers’ needs and to improve our services overall. This aggregate information is shared with business-partners and advertisers but does not include any personally identifiable information, and does not put the confidentiality of your information at risk. Complete confidentiality and security is not yet possible over the Internet. Internet use and communication is subject to interception, loss and alteration. On whichever site you provide personal information, it is possible for a third party to view that information.
