Fabulous Fashionistas

Meet six stylish 70+ women who refuse to be stereotyped. Dressing with panache, they live life to the fullest and redefine what it means to be ‘old’.

Good taste is timeless. Age is just a number.

Directed by Sue Bourne, Fabulous Fashionistas introduces us to six pioneers for a different type of old age.

Bridget is 75 and looks a million dollars with her charity shop wardrobe. At 85, Daphne is Britain’s oldest model. Now 75, Jean’s life changed dramatically when she got a job at Gap. The eldest, 91 year-old Lady Trumpington, caused an internet sensation by flicking two fingers at a colleague in the House of Lords. Famous choreographer Gillian, 87, follows a rigorous daily exercise regime, while Sue, 73, quit being Queen of Low Fat Cooking to become an artist. Defying our expectations, these rebels have fun and look fantastic.
