Four women, all very different, are bonded by the extraordinary situation they share.

“He’s going down. It’s time to find out what she’s really made of…”

Scroll down to watch the riveting series trailer and a previews of Episodes 1 – 4. Previews of Episodes 5 & 6 will be posted at 11pm ET on Oct. 2 and 9 to keep from giving anything away too early.

Season 1 encores from September 4 through October 9, 2013 followed by our NETWORK PREMIERE of the edge-of-your-seat, thrilling Season 2 of Prisoners’ Wives on Wednesday, October 16 at 10pm ET/7 PT.

In Prisoners’ Wives, the lives of Gemma, Francesca, Harriet and Lou become entwined as they all struggle to cope on the ‘outside’ while their men do time ‘inside’. They’re a group of women defined by the absence of men in their lives, but more importantly their relationships with each other. Each episode in this compelling, six-part series focuses on one of the group, bringing their personal story to the forefront.

Life on the outside is definitely harder than on the inside, but despite their many problems – broke, lonely, sex starved and struggling – all of the women discover their inner resolve as they undergo huge transformative journeys and grow as individuals.

First broadcast on January 31, 2012, this new drama series premiered on BBC1 to outstanding ratings.
