Based on the epic poem by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, The Song of Hiawatha tells the story of a young Ojibway who becomes chief in a time of war.

Hiawatha gathers his companions, Chibiabos (Adam Beach, Law & Order:SVU) and Minnehahawho (Irene Bedard, voice of Pocahontas) to join him on a spiritual quest to save his people. As he struggles with threats of famine and disease, two Euopeans arrive willing to trade guns to the Ojibway.
