Yes, Prime Minister

 bannerImage

The original Yes, Prime Minister has been reinvented for a new generation but losing none of the sharp bite and laugh out loud wit of the highly acclaimed original series as a new cast steps in to lampoon the inner workings of government. Centered around fictional British Prime Minister Jim Hacker, his slippery advisor Sir Humphrey Appleby and principal Private Secretary Bernard Woolley, this contemporary-set series is scripted by the original 1980s writing team, Jonathan Lynn and Antony Jay, and is based on their successful and critically acclaimed play.

As the new series opens, Jim Hacker’s premiership is in danger of falling apart. Heading up a fragile coalition government, he’s confronting the greatest economic crisis in a generation, a tempting energy deal from an unusual source, a leadership crisis with his coalition partners, a Scottish independence referendum and the biggest moral dilemma he has ever faced. It’s lucky for him Sir Humphrey is on hand to tell him what to do. Or is it?
