On Monday, July 15 at 9 pm ET, VisionTV will serve up 50 Ways to Kill Your Mum, a new thrill-seeking adventure reality series inspired by the international Emmy Award winning hit,50 Ways to Kill Your Mammy and its sequel 50 Ways to Kill Your Mammies, that test the limits of family trust and proves that you’re never too old for the adventure of a lifetime.
From zip lining across the Niagara Gorge to shark fishing in the Atlantic, sky-diving in Nevada to handling 20,000 bees in New Mexico, each episode travels to a North American destination where celebrities take their parents out of their comfort zones and on wild bucket list adventures, giving them memories they’ll “cherish” for the rest of their lives.
Celebrity guests include:
Schitts Creek’s Annie Murphy and her mum Deb.
Beverley Hills 90210’s Jennie Garth and her daughter Luca Bella Facinelli.
Star of Nickelodeon’s Big Time Rush, James Maslow and his dad Mike.
Pop culture icon Jaleel White (a.k.a. Steve Urkel) and his mum Gail.
International supermodel Coco Rocha and her dad Trevor.

50 Ways is based on the UK series, 50 Ways to Kill Your Mammy, produced by Burning Bright Productions and Brown Bread Films for Sky 1 and distributed by Sky Vision, featuring Irish radio host and TV personality, Baz Ashmawy sharing his bucket list adventures with his mother, Nancy. The series won an International Emmy Award in 2015 for Best Non-Scripted Entertainment and has been acquired by broadcasters in over 100 territories. 50 Ways is produced by Peacock Alley Entertainment, a Canadian producer of internationally acclaimed scripted and unscripted content, including A User’s Guide to Cheating Death for VisionTV and Travelers for Netflix.

For the kids, the biggest challenge is encouraging their parents to push past fear and try something new and daring, and that they might even end up enjoying it. In Sante Fe, Family Matters star Jaleel White surprises his mum Gail with off-roading, insect-handling, and the most terrifying challenge of all for height-phobic Gail – a hot air balloon ride. But Gail pushes through and conquers every challenge to prove her adventurous side to her son. While it might take a little convincing, there’s always a sense of pride from mum or dad after accomplishing much more than they thought themselves capable of.

The series also captures the emotional moments between parent and child that come from spending the kind of quality time together they haven’t gotten in years. For international supermodel Coco Rocha, hanging out with her dad Trevor in Montreal means getting the chance to reconnect and bond again after growing up on opposite coasts. Thanks to a week of race-car driving, trapeze flying, and a high-adrenaline forest adventure, their father-daughter relationship ends up stronger than ever.

“This experience was really perfect to solidify and broaden the bond between Keaton and me,” said actor Eric Roberts in an interview with Everything Zoomer. “I didn’t know I could get to know him better or open up to him more deeply, but that’s exactly what happened. I felt his caring in general, and his protective, encouraging reaction to my trepidation. And I was truly moved by it.”
