The Making of a Monarch showcases the life of Charles through footage of his experiences, interviews, and recordings from a young age until now. The material used is unique and rarely seen or heard, including previously unheard audio recordings of Charles discussing topics such as the Monarchy and public service. The film provides insight into Charles’ life, including his family, education, early royal duties, time in the military, and the causes he supports.

As the heir to the throne, Charles recognized the weight of his role and the challenge of defining it.
