San Francisco attorney Stuart McMillan (ROCK HUDSON) is named Commissioner of the San Francisco Police Department. With his pretty, but somewhat kooky, wife Sally (SUSAN SAINT JAMES), her hard-drinking housekeeper Mildred, and his assistant, the dimwitted Seargent Charlie Enright, Mac manages to solve some of San Francisco’s most baffling crimes.

Through seven seasons airing from 1971 – 1977, Stuart and Sally McMillan became everyone’s favourite crime fighting couple of the ’70s. McMillan & Wife aired, along with Columbo and McCloud, in the Sunday night NBC Mystery Movie time slot throughout most of those years. Now, the classic retro cool of McMillan & Wife will take over for Columbo in our Thursday night Great Movie time slot, weekly at 9pm ET/6 PT.
