In the final days of the Civil War, a Union captain, a freed slave, a reporter, and a family of man, wife, and son, escape from the Confederates in a stolen balloon which drifts across America and finally deposits them on a Pacific island.

#1-2: DOWN UNDER | Monday, July 20, 2015
Harding and company learn their island lies far from any mainland, is volcanic in origin, and seems prone to earthquakes. They also come to believe it’s inhabited by some sort of force or power characterized by a green light.

#1-3: SAFE HAVEN | Tuesday, July 21, 2015
A rockslide of suspicious origin partially buries Gideon. To free him, Harding creates an explosion using improvised gunpowder. Later, Neb stumbles into a cave which the castaways decide to turn into a residence: Granite House.

#1-4: WHITE WATER | Wednesday, July 22, 2015
Discovery of a washed-ashore chest full of carpentry tools and navigation instruments inspires the castaways to build a boat. For a sail, they’ll use cloth from their balloon which they find tangled in a tree.

#1-5: A DEATH IN THE FAMILY | Thursday, July 23, 2015
The castaways find a note and message in a bottle. These lead them to an elusive, possibly dangerous man named Ayrton who’s been stranded on the island for six years. One of the castaways then apparently dies of a snakebite.

#1-6: LOVE THY NEIGHBOUR | Friday, July 24, 2015
Tensions and misunderstandings grow between the castaways and the island’s mute, bearded hermit who may have slit the throats of several of the island’s goats. Suspicion lingers, however, that there’s yet another presence on the island.

Pirates land on the island, taking the castaways by surprise. The pirates seek to recover buried treasure and their arrival prompts the release of new and disturbing information about the hermit, Ayrton.

#1-8: THE PRICE OF VENGEANCE | Tuesday, July 28, 2015
The pirate, Cutler, survives a mysterious explosion on board his ship. He then wreaks havoc on the island, grazing Herbert with a bullet and shooting Jack with a poison dart before his reign of terror is brought to an end.

#1-9: THE PHANTOM’S LAIR | Wednesday, July 29, 2015
Harding’s underwater explorations lead him into a metallic chamber where he talks to (but does not see) the island’s mysterious Phantom. In Granite House Gideon confronts a young black woman whom he regards as a savage cannibal.

#1-10: IT SHOULD BE AN ENGLISHMAN | Thursday, July 30, 2015
Harding returns from talking with the Phantom, discovers a party of “cannibals” has landed to retrieve the young woman who confronted Gideon. Hostage-taking ensues. The “cannibals” finally depart, refusing to take the castaways with them.

#1-11: NO ONE RULES ME | Friday, July 31, 2015
A blocked water supply causes stress for the castaways, and Harding begins to show signs of paranoia and delusion. Herbert finds on the beach a letter written in Latin containing the word “Nemo.”

#1-12: HE’S NOT HEAVY | Monday, August 3, 2015
Nemo intercepts a canoe and brings a wise old native woman to the island as a culture clash experience, but finds himself face to face with a superior power. Joanna’s stand for women’s rights has unexpected consequences.

#1-13: MAKE YOURSELVES AT HOME | Tuesday, August 4, 2015
Nemo fulfills a promise to Katira to bring the rest of her people to the island, then watches with glee as the natives take over Granite House and send the castaways into exile.

#1-14: FIRST IMPRESSIONS ARE SKIN DEEP | Wednesday, August 5, 2015
A tatooed aboriginal man arrives on the island, telling the castaways that he is on a spiritual quest. Nemo is delighted when his presence has a disruptive influence on the group.

#1-15: GIDEON’S TALE | Thursday, August 6, 2015
Herbert realizes that it is his birthday, but decides to keep it a secret. He is angry because he thinks Joanna has forgotten, and while she prepares a surprise gift for him, he decides to find a way to leave the island.

#1-16: LAST RITES OF SPRING | Friday, August 7, 2015
When pirates bring two women to the island, Nemo uses the situation to study human mating habits. The women, meanwhile, set their sights on Gideon and Herbert, which encourages the men into a near-fatal show of bravado.

#1-17: LABOUR’S LOST | Monday, August 10, 2015
Joanna argues with Herbert after a dream about a baby, and leaves the Granite House, headed for Ayrton’s cabin. She has an accident on the way there, and is rescued by Nemo, who drugs her and questions her, learning she is pregnant with Jack’s baby, but is afraid of childbirth.

#1-18: THE VISITOR | Tuesday, August 11, 2015
Nemo’s hidden camera in Granite House breaks down, so he disguises himself as a shipwrecked Englishman in order to gain admittance into the house to fix the equipment.

#1-19: WHAT ARE YOU AFRAID OF? | Wednesday, August 12, 2015
A series of accidents leads Harding to come face to face with the mysterious phantom, and he struggles with how to share the shocking truth.

#1-20: PLAN OF ATTACK | Thursday, August 13, 2015
The castaways share their experiences with the phantom and realize he may be their only hope of escaping the island.

#1-21: A PACT WITH THE DEVIL | Friday, August 14, 2015
Nemo reveals to Harding that his need to complete his experiment is greater than his desire to help the castaways off the island, and Harding is forced to cut a deal.

#1-22: GOING, GOING, GONE | Monday, August 17, 2015
When Harding carries out his part of the deal with Nemo, the other castaways are enraged, moving from the Granite House into a makeshift hut on the beach.
