“Virasat” TV (meaning “heritage”) is a weekly half-hour long religious program. The program features religious discourses by Sikh religious preachers both from Canada and worldwide. Canadian Sikhs wish to ensure their children retain their values, religious beliefs, traditions and heritage while being raised in Canada. This program aims to fulfill this need and provide wholesome family viewing to the community.

There are also segments that encourage viewers to learn about Canadian heritage, history and how they can also enrich their lives by adopted them in their lives. It strives to inculcate pride in their adopted homeland that is further enhanced when fused with traditions, culture, heritage and faith beliefs they bring with them. The program includes some music videos, the majority of which are religious and spiritual in nature.
